About This Recipe

If this sounds like a healthy dessert for dogs—that's because it pretty much is! Our Apple Pie dinner for dogs recipe combines ground turkey with the sweetness of apples for possibly our greatest culinary creation yet.

For this turkey homemade dog food recipe, just combine the simple ingredients and voila! Cinnamon not only balances the apple's flavor, but it also helps reduce blood glucose spikes from its sweetness.

This nutritionally complete homemade dog food is great for your picky eater, and it's way healthier than the apple oatmeal dog treats recipes we've seen online

Some pet parents have asked if dogs can eat apples, and the answer it yes. Apples are rich in fiber and antioxidants, and in the amounts served in this recipe, are a great addition to your dog's diet.
