Raw ground meat is exposed to different bacteria than fresh raw meat in the wild. Did you know cooked meat has higher digestibility than raw?

Yes. Cook a single meal portion in the microwave for 2½ minutes. Your dog will receive the same amount of vitamins and minerals as our baking method.

Carbohydrates are chains of sugar molecules used by your dog’s body for energy. When too many carbs are consumed in a single meal, their body cannot utilize them all, and an excess of insulin is produced storing the remainder as fat. Over time, their body can become insulin resistant, causing diabetes. A low carb diet prevents this cycle and is in line with a canine’s ancestral diet of 54% protein, 45% fat and 1% carbs. While dogs can safely consume more carbs than this, we recommend limiting carbohydrates to 25% of their diet.
