Yumwoof was born out of necessity. Its Head Chef had fallen on hard times and could no longer afford to feed his dogs the high end kibble he had been feeding them for years. With the input of his local veterinarian and pet nutritionist, he created a healthier alternative reflecting the latest science in pet nutrition. Yumwoof donates 1% of all pet food sales to no-kill animal shelters as part of its mission to create pet lifesaving communities across the country. Yumwoof was co-founded by long-time friends Jaron Lukas, Raymond Bailey and Yo Sub Kwon.
